How to Use Midjourney for Marketing: A Complete Guide to Creating Stunning Visuals with AI | by Tezan Sahu | Generative AI

Hey Everyone,

While the quality of reader from free recommendations like on Substack isn’t guaranteed (it isn’t the best), a more intentional way to grow your Newsletter is to find someone in an overlapping Niche and do a cross-promote mention (CPM) or link (CPrL) to their latest article in your Newsletter in a reciprocal way. This is simply a form of reciprocal word of mouth marketing.

Make it Intentional

The fun part is their reader actually picks you (not just consent but choice). That’s really important as we will see later on. Just like in sales you need a few strong touchpoints to get a sale, the same goes for a paid subscriber, at least usually.

Here you want to find a Newsletter that is like yours, at a similar level of growth, with similar open-rates and CTRs in the same or a very similar niche. The concept of venn diagram overlapping topics here is key.

This is basically what I do for free with my various guest posters on my flagship Newsletter. I can get them up to 100-200 free signups in a single guest post Newsletter mention, if they write a good piece. This is because their writing is the testimonial and the lead generation experience itself for the consumer.

Fun Fact: You only need 28 new subscribers per day to reach 10,000+ subscribers in one year.
