Breaking: Substack is working on Writers selling one-on-one calls via Calendy integration.
Feature would be new way Writers can monetize their Newsletter swag.
Hey Guys,
I’ve been hoping Substack would build more features for writers and Creators to be able to diversify their revenue streams, aside from just paid subscriptions (which by now everyone is doing).
It seems I got my wish.

![Substack publication settings: meetings
Start selling one-on-one calls to your readers.
Connect a free Calendly account to get started.
[Connect Calendly]](https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/w_600,c_limit,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.substack.com%2Fmedia%2FFiHwG6ragAAauoI.jpg)
Basically it would work seamlessly with Calendly, not unlike other services of the same nature.
This could expose some Newsletter Creators to offering:
Consulting
Advice to other writers and creators on how to scale
Fan or influencer one-on-one time
Inquiries for intro to Collaboration and partnership meetings….
Exclusive access to Creators on brand amplification investing
Media inquiries for featured profile
Advertising partner discussions
You can imagine the utility for bigger Newsletters this could be. This is in addition to Sponsored Ads, Talent Collectives and other things Newsletter writers are already doing in addition to paid subs (which doesn’t always scale like writers imagine).
Great to see new Betas and pilots taking shape. I know that
is among those testing it.

Anyways guys it’s an interesting feat. In 2022 while penetration of the subscription economy has increased, it’s all the other revenue streams popping up that makes this more sustainable for Newsletter Creators in the micro-influencer category where it’s most impactful.
This is actually one of the features the “Medium of India” (okay there are several), called Teelfeed, is thinking of building monetization into its business model.
Kaya this wouldn’t be a bad topic to cover, how Creator diversification of revenue streams is taking place as we head into 2023.
Thanks for reading!
