What are Substack Meetings?

Just a quick note. The idea of creators, influencers and journalists doing consults or consultations, is nothing new but Substack is now allowing Newsletter writers more ways to monetize their following and thought leadership.

You just connect the calendly account in the Substack Settings:

So not only do you have paid tiers for subscribers, along with Founding tier. You can reward them and get paid for being social and offer your services as a consultant of some kind.

The reality is writers working in a niche or writing a Newsletter for long enough eventually become “experts” in their field, so this sort of makes sense.

In my case, Substack recommended a booking for a 30-min call at a charge of $160. That’s a rate of $5.33 a minute, which sounds reasonable.

It would be daunting to actually turn this on, but you never know what it may lead to!
