In stumbling across Creator tools listicles of 2022, I found Mediavine. I’m pretty interested in the intersection of bloggers and advertising. I don’t actually believe its the in best interests of content creators to limit themselves to one form of revenue, such as paid subscriber subscriptions.

Everything from 1-on-1 consulting, to talent collectives, to Sponsored Ads should be explored. Why would we limit ourselves? Because in this world, its’ hard enough to get paid to write. In order to survive, to be viable, we need to become like diversified solo- entrepreneurs. (Did I ever tell you how much I dislike Justin Welsh?).

Anyways, no one platforms or tool is network is ever going to be enough. Unless you grandmothered your Email list over the work of a decade, are a successful published author or have a Twitter handle of over 100,000 followers. That being said, creator monetization is actually really interesting and nascent.

Haha yeah it’s nearly 2023, definately other.
