Hey Guys,
Just a reminder if you are a serious YouTube Creator and are thinking of joining Substack.
Graham Stephan is a YouTuber who joined Substack and now dominates building an Email list. Likewise TikTok Creator Internet Princess can now live on her Substack revenue.
So why is this important?
It means influencers on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok can also use Substack to share their journey with their fans and followers to help them “build in public” while diversifying their revenue streams as the new normal.

post about this:I didn’t even know Graham’s YouTube content, but his Substack content is already top notch.
The Building in Public Trend in 2023
is just 30 and I'm fairly sure Internet Princess is closer to 22, so if this trend continues it means GenZ will also adopt building in public. Substack is part of the diversified stack of tools, not a one-stop shop but part of a growing ecosystem. The diversified stack means having a TikTok, YouTube, Substack and other tools and channels as well.
The trend of migration from other platforms to Substack increased in late 2022 with Twitter’s exodus. Even including Margaret Atwood.
Of course Substack is just one of a host of different Creator economy tools that enables us to build in public. However when video influencers include a Newsletter and a blog, it can compound their following differently to cater to a bunch of different kinds of audiences.
