Great article Michael. Before deciding to write my newsletter on Substack, I came very close to choosing a web3 publishing platform similar to Mirror. Like you though, I was put off signing up as I didn't have an Etherium account that they were insisting upon. NFTs 'maybe' the future - but I'm happy to stick with Substack for now!
I'm very bullish Craig on our ability to scale over-time on Substack. I'm not opposed to trying other platforms and experiments, I just like to have "home bases" with business models I can understand - for now Substack and LinkedIn in my case.
I just wrote a piece about Snap introducing subscriptions, and Apps integrating features of Web3 faster than Web3 can scale their audiences and communities seems to be the order of the day.
